ECCSL, ICCSL webinar on ‘Technology Trends Emerging in the Travel and Tourism Industry’

The European Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (ECCSL) has partnered with the International Chamber of Commerce – Sri Lanka (ICCSL) to organise a webinar titled ‘Technology Trends Emerging in the Travel and Tourism Industry’ on Friday, 18 June at 4.00 p.m.

Although the tourism industry is going through an unpredictable time at present, it is always hopeful that the tourism sector in Sri Lanka and the region will bounce back once global travelling resumes to depict the ‘new normal’.

Being equipped with the understanding and necessity of technology could allow the travel and tourism industry to attract visitors when times are good. Moreover, it is acknowledged that, evolving technology and its trends has the power to disrupt many industries, but the businesses that thrive are the ones that are willing to embrace new ways of working with and adapt to/embrace these changes.
